Started in 1986, the Pro Fidelitate et Virtue Award is conferred each year at the Institute on Religious Life’s National Meeting to someone who has been outstanding in the support and promotion of authentic religious life.
Today's episode is honoring our 2010 award recipient, Raymond Cardinal Burke. He was named a Cardinal in 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI. Cardinal Burke has written and spoken widely on Roman Catholic canon law, the Holy Eucharist, devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the sanctity of human life.
Throughout the years, Cardinal Burke has been quite active in various Catholic apostolates and organizations founded by the Servant of God, Rev. John A. Hardon, S.J., including the Institute on Religious Life. In recent years His Grace has spearheaded the cause for canonization of Father Hardon.
Today's episode is a recording of a talk from the 2010 National Meeting entitled, "The Legacy of Fr. John Hardon". We hope you enjoy!
